Whenever we're driving down the road, we are always on the lookout for dump trucks, garbage trucks, construction equipment and buses. We were going home from music class and saw this in the parking lot of a old shopping center. I pulled up and asked what was going on. It was a public works rodeo where these vehicles drove around cones and were timed doing there various jobs. We could only watch from the perimeter and stayed for about a half hour.
There was only one thing that Harrison could touch. It's some kind of road paving equipment. He even got to sit in the chair and honk the horn. He was in heaven!
He cried when we left.
On a side note, this was the first day that Harrison wore underpants while we were out of the house. He usually wears underpants at home and pull-ups when we go out just in case. Anyway, he insisted that he wanted to wear them so we had a long talk about it and guess what? No accidents!
