trip to Tennessee

We spent five days after Christmas with my family in Tennessee.  My siblings, my mom and all the cousins were there.   We all had a wonderful time!  Not only did Harrison love being with everyone (especially playing with the cousins) but he really enjoyed all the treats.  It was a non-stop buffet that he took full advantage of.

Harrison got another firetruck for Christmas.  I think he likes it.
Alaina is the cousin closest in age to Harrison.  They are almost exactly two years apart.  Here he walked up to her and put his arm around her back for a picture.
Part of the fun of this trip was getting to play with the other kids' toys.  Uncle Rusty is showing him how it's done.  It was wonderful having extra help with the boys.  Especially when we went to the discovery center.
The first place Harrison went was the firetruck.

One of his favorite things there was this interactive water display where he was able to funnel, pour, squirt, pump, splash and play.  He spent a lot of time there.
This car "garage" was also a favorite.

There was so much cousin love that we went to the Opryland Hotel to take some pictures of them all together.
After we were done with the pictures, we were getting ready to leave and then all of the LSU football players started coming in the hotel.  We didn't know it but they were staying there for the Music City Bowl the next day (which we went to but sadly they lost in the last 4 seconds).  We cheered for them as they came in and met some of the players.  This guy, #75 Evan Washington, was so nice and let us take a picture with him.  He was huge!  Look how Happy Harrison looks.
This was such a great trip.  It was totally worth the 21 hours of round trip driving.  (By the way, we drove through the night both ways and the boys slept almost the whole time.)
