Both the boys love Curious George so it was perfect that Leo fit in Harrison's old monkey costume. I thought it would be fairly easy to have Harrison be the Man In The Yellow Hat. Finding yellow pants was the hardest part. Harrison loved his costume and loved telling people who he was.
The church carnival was a good warm up for Halloween two days later.
This was the first year that Harrison was really in to trick-or-treating. He did great and said "trick-or-treat" every time and then "thank you". He wasn't scared by any of the decorations or spooky costumes.
Besides getting candy, the real highlight of the night for Harrison was the fire truck. They were driving around the neighborhood giving out candy. As you can see, they even let him climb up on the truck.
Once we got home I had the boys pose by the Curious George pumpkin Jeff decorated.
After baths we sorted through the loot and let the boys pick out one treat before bed. You can see that Leo already has his sucker unwrapped and in his mouth while Harrison was still deciding. So many choices for someone with a huge sweet tooth.
Harrison will be enjoying his candy for a while.
