Jeff had a three day conference on the other side of the state. We decided to make it a family road trip. We played at the park, went swimming in the hotel pool, found a caboose to explore and went to the zoo. The Blue Ridge Mountains were beautiful and the weather was nice, but what the boys seemed to enjoy the most was destroying our hotel room! They were obsessed with the hotel safe and one (or both) of them put a pair of my shoes in there and locked it. We had to get someone to come open the safe.
