Harrison was showing interest and we thought he (and we) were ready so we started potty training this weekend. Every time he goes pee-pee or poo-poo in the potty he gets a treat, puts a sticker on his chart, we jump for joy and he gets to call someone on the phone to tell them. Today he finished filling in the first row of his chart (which means he went 12 times) and got rewarded with a ring pop. Do you think he was happy?!
It's definitely a work in progress but I think he's starting to get it. At church he told the nursery leader that he had to go potty. More and more he has a full bladder when he goes, which means that he's holding it until the potty. We're so proud of how good he's doing and he's proud of himself too!!
