One of the biggest lessons learned from September 11 and Jeff's subsequent deployments was to never take our time together for granted. Yesterday I was struck by how lucky we are that Jeff is here and that we're a family. I am so grateful for our time together and for the countless everyday moments that we share. Here are just a few that make me smile:
-Harrison standing on his own (without any support) for a good three seconds
-a little girl at playgroup telling me she liked Harrison's toes
-swings at the park
-family dinner
-bicycle ride
-bicycle ride
-Jeff rocking Harrison to sleep
-Harrison chewing on the wrong end of his new toothbrush
-Harrison chewing on the wrong end of his new toothbrush
-glow-in-the-dark pajamas
-two teeth to start brushing
-and a very happy, wonderful little boy who makes every day better
