Harrison had his six month check-up with his pediatrician. Once again he met or exceeded all of the milestones and growth for his age. He weighed in at 19 pounds and is 27 1/4 inches long. That puts him in the 75% for both height & weight. His head has grown and is now in the 30th percentile. He also had to get three shots - which he did not like - but has not had any reaction. The funniest part of the doctor visit was that Harrison made confetti from the paper on the exam table that he was sitting on. He kept pulling it out and ripping it to shreds. It was all fun & games until the needles came out.
Highlights from Harrison's sixth month:
May 7 - ate oatmeal for the first time
May 8 - trip to Philadelphia & first time swimming in a pool
May 16 - ate squash and zucchini for the first time
May 26 - ate avocado for the first time
June 5 - first ever snotty nose
- sits up so well
- loves to splash and play in the tub
- like to chew, not suck, on his thumb
- grabs anything within reach
- puts everything in his mouth
- rubs eyes when sleepy
- hates to have his nose wiped
- still the best baby ever!
